Selected by the jury for the exhibit " We're Back!" at the Ironwood Gallery September 7 - November 3, 2024 at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson Arizona.


This painting is the partner piece for "After the Storm" featuring the California Brown Pelican, and its incredible resilience, in a journey to recovery after challenges that brought the species to near extinction.


They depend on a healthy ecosystem to provide fish and habitat for survival.
